RAW Tool

Description: This little line of code has come in handy many many times for identifying RAW codes for scripting.

RAW *:*: { echo -a $numeric $1- }

Basically, all this will do, is echo the RAW numeric, and then the data included so you can see the format of the data as it comes in, so you know which info to grab, if that makes sense.

Just try it out, paste it in remotes, and do a whois, you'll see something like this:

311 snang Rayeh ~rayeh Rayeh.user.gamesurge * Raymond Dubisky
319 snang Rayeh @#irpg @#egnog @#rpg-gamers @#trance @#linux #php @#scriptclass @#script
312 snang Rayeh *.GameSurge.net The GameSurge IRC Network
330 snang Rayeh Rayeh is logged in as
318 snang Rayeh End of /WHOIS list.

sorry... i have to agree with dS on this one.  /debug is just a command and is a lot easier than going through your entire remote section to find this one line every time and comment/uncomment the line to enable or disable it.  If you don't know how to use /debug then you shouldn't be messing with raw codes anyway

I never said I didn't know how to use debug...I just think it's easier than using it.  It'll return ONLY raw code events, not all the other garbage that debug does.

Please, forgive me for having a different preference.
