mIRC Code Blocks
Thursday, March 25, 2004
People, not to sound rude, but you must use the < mirc > tag when submitting code. Not only will it keep it from word wrapping, but it looks nicer and turns < > and others into html special characters. I am getting tired of having to go through and add it to everyone's post.

It annoys me too, I just edited a couple of them to include the tag :P

maybe we should have a couple fields for submission: comments section and a code section, it'd make everything a little more uniform and also automatically use <mirc> in it

Then users wouldn't be able to go from plaintext, to code, and then back again, which is something useful for writing tutorials, or explaining how something works.

lol maybe you can make it so on the first post, if they don't use <mirc> tags it yells at them saying "omg jo l00s3r.. go back n put teh tags on teh snippet!"
